Monday, July 18 will be our final dance class of the season. Let’s make it a good one! We have been having a lot of fun these past few weeks reviving old favorite dances and exploring new ones. Join us at 7:00 at the Danish Hall!

Dancing will resume in the fall, depending on COVID levels as always. Please watch this website or call 360-825-6572 for dates and information. Have a happy and safe summer.

Good news! Dancing will resume Monday, April 25 from 7:00-9:00pm at the Danish Hall in Enumclaw. The address is 1708 Porter St. This first session will be free of charge as an evening to get reacquainted, socialize and do some easy dances. Other sessions are $5 per person each. Tea and snacks will be provided or you may bring your own food and drink.

Our ability to continue meeting will depend on the local COVID case rate and the cooperation of all those attending. We are asking that everyone be up to date on COVID vaccinations and boosters. Please bring your vaccination card the first time for record keeping. The building will be opened up for ventilation. We are hoping the weather will warm up, but people need to dress accordingly! (Past dancers: don’t forget your ghillies! New people: lightweight, flexible shoes are recommended.)

Sanitizer and disinfecting wipes will be provided. We encourage everyone to wash and sanitize frequently and keep some distance from others when not dancing. Masks are encouraged, especially when actively dancing, but will be an individual choice.

We are asking that people refrain from attending if they think they may have been recently exposed to COVID, have been told to self-isolate, have any symptoms of COVID not caused by another condition or have recently been tested for COVID and don’t have a negative result.

Please continue to watch this website for further news and schedule. Call 360-825-6572 for more information.

Let’s get together and have some fun!

We are sad to announce that our party and ceilidh dance scheduled for October 11 will be postponed
until mid-January. The holidays are getting closer, cooler weather is setting in, and the infection rate of
the virus has only just started to drop and is still very high, especially in Pierce and south King Counties.

The CDC has just released guidelines for the holidays and is recommending people get together virtually,
outdoors or just with immediate family. All of us want to stay healthy so we can enjoy the upcoming
holidays. We just want to stay healthy anyway! The risk of breakthrough infection is still very real. So,
we are making the decision to wait on dance until at least 2 weeks after New Year’s weekend. Hopefully
there won’t be a winter/holiday surge of infections like last year and cases will have dropped to a safer
level by mid-January.

We will be watching trends in the infection rate. Updates will be posted as we get closer to January.
Please do your part in putting this pandemic behind us. Stay safe everyone!
